Here is my 1960 Yamaha YD2 250cc 2 stroke twin
The YD2 was Yamaha's 2nd 250cc model launched in 1959 that followed on from the 1957 YD1. Also in 1959 Yamaha launched their 1st Sports 250cc Twin, the YDS1. A distant ancestor of the 350LC !

A genuine, very original, UK model from May 1972 Runs lovely, engine is very quiet and the bike rides very well, as you'd expect with such low mileage Some parts are NOS, some replacment and some small amounts of sympathetic restoration I was intending on building a Yamaha collection but the situation has changed and sadly this lovely bike has to go
All electrics are working, Ive just added a NOS left switch at great expense as the one on the bike had one of the plastic bits missing. Also ... more
