For sale 1980 YZ50 $2800. Missing only heat shield, I have a lot of time and money invested. All steel is powder coated, motor painted, carb vapor cleaned inspected good.
This was a low hr machine. All new bearings & bushings. Stock bars Powder Coated and straight. New plastics, grips, chain and seat cover. Seat foam needs attention. But useable. 1980 Kawasaki Z1R D3, The 1980 D3 Z1R is a very low production Kawasaki. The current engine runs, may need carb work and has noisy clutch basket, which will require the cases to be split so the clutch basket can be repaired or replaced
The engine in this Z1R is not a D3 engine, it is a 1978 KZ 1000 B2 LTD engine. I have the correct D3 engine to go with this frame. The front left top motor mount ear is broken and will need to be repaired. This is a pretty straight forward welding job

Basically all there, apart from the side panels that were lost, they are easy and cheap to get though Has been standing, but everything is free, the bike wheels freely, got the engine running with a jump noises or rattles, have a video of it running for anyone who wants to see it Inside of tank is very clean and rust free - no rust underneath either But it??s leaking from the front of the rocker cover gasket, so it needs a new one fitting ... more

Honda cr 250 1980. I bought this bike as a Californian import in 2011. It then underwent a full nut and bolt rebuild, all parts vapour blasted and rebuilt by Mark at MHF restorations, one of the best in the business.
