A very original Norton Big 4 with a Swallow Jet 80 sidecar. A lovely old thing with a beautiful patina. Rare 1951 Douglas 80 Plus. You have all heard rare before, but a previous example auctioned by Cheffins says that only 268 of these were ever built. Factor in survival rates from 75 years ago, and I suggest that means these are now pretty thin on the ground. I have no idea how many are left, but I would suggest a survival rate of sub-50 % after that period. This one comes with a current V5C.
